Lisa Marie DeRoma was born into the heart of the film industry in Los Angeles, California, and has been surrounded by the entertainment business her entire life. Great-niece of Hollywood legend Leo Carrillo, she immersed herself in the theatre as early as grammar school. This passion continued all through high school.

After graduation, Lisa Marie went on to major in Theatre Arts at Orange Coast College in Costa Mesa where she began to realize that her interests lay more in behind-the-scenes work. After transferring to Goldenwest College in Huntington Beach where she studied advanced make-up techniques, she continued on to the Make-Up Designory (MUD) in Burbank where she obtained a Journeyman diploma.
